Things to Do in Parker (In Progress)
Harmony Park
Harmony Park, which I refer to as Xylophone Park, is next to the PACE Center at 20000 Pikes PeakĀ Avenue in Parker, Colorado 80138. I did a Google Pindrop for the Xylophone Area since there is not a separate address. There are about eight different types of Xylophones for you to make music with. There are also benches for in the area for those who chose to be part of the “audience” while their musicians play for them.

Public Art
There are public art exhibits throughout Parker. This is one of my favorite things about Parker. You can walk (or drive) while seeing creativity around you scattered here and there.
You could have a public art scavenger hunt. How many works of art can you find?

Ray J. Harvie Open Space
This is one of the newest trails in Parker near the Canterberry Subdivision Entrance at at 22417 East Mainstreet, Parker, Colorado. There are three ways that you can walk the loop one being 1.5 miles, 1.45 miles and 0.3 miles. Once you park in the parking lot, there is a trail to a gazebo area that has a picnic table. There are a few more gazebos and picnic tables along the trail.

Slemmer Ranch Barn is located behind Iron Horse Elementary on the Tallman Gulch Trail. There is an area near the barn with three picnic tables under large trees. The area is ideal for picnic lunch along the trail.
