Boyd Lake Trail

The Boyd Lake Trail was created in partnership with the City of Loveland and the Colorado Parks & Wildlife.  The seven-mile trail runs along Boyd Lake.  It offers views of the lake, a cornfield, and a chance to stop at Seven Lakes Park along the way.

The trail is part of the City of Loveland Recreation Trail System.  The system totals 23-miles in a circle around the City of Loveland.  Boyd Lake Trail connects to Civic Center Trail on the south end.  On the north side, the trail connects to the North Trail.

Boyd Lake Trail

This was one of my favorite spots at the park.  There was a sign for the trail. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I continued.  On the trail, I passed a cornfield.  I thought it was pretty interesting.  It was one of those you don’t walk past a cornfield everyday type of experiences.
