How CityPass Denver Works

One of my favorite things about CityPass Denver is that you don’t even need to decide ahead of time which attractions you want to see!    You can purchase the package then pick later.

These packages offer you significant savings over purchasing each admission ticket individually.  You can save up to 40% with the five attraction package.  

Download your mobile tickets right onto your phone or print them out.

You have one year from the purchase date to start using the tickets.  Tickets are valid for seven consecutive days.  The days start with and include the first day you visit an attraction.

CityPass Denver Attractions

Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus

The Children’s Museum is a great place for kids to explore!  The museum exhibits allow kids to learn and have fun at the same time.  All ages are welcome at the museum.  It is designed with visitors age eight and under in mind.

Kids can investigate water, kinetics, bubbles, and energy.  They can use their amazing imaginations in the fire station, vet’s office, farmer’s market, or book nook.  Ready, set, explore!  They can explore Joy Park, the Adventure Forest, and Early Learners’ Oasis.  Kids can use practice their problem-solving, creativity, fine and gross motor skills by creating a masterpiece in the art studio and building in the assembly plant.  This is a fun place for kids!

Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum features a variety of collections, including African Art, Architecture and Design, Art and the Ancient Americas, Asian Art, European and American Art Before 1900, Indigenous Arts of North America, Latin American Art, Modern and Contemporary Art, Oceanic Art, Photography, Textile Art and Fashion, and Western American Art.

The Denver Art Museum offers kid-friendly interactive and thought-provoking exhibits.  They recently received a grant that allows them to offer free general admission to kids 18 and under

Denver Botanic Gardens

The Denver Botanic Gardens is filled with a wide range of gardens and collections throughout its 24 acres. The gardens feature the Gardens of the West, Internationally Inspired Gardens, Ornamental Gardens, Shady Gardens, and Water Gardens.  The Freyer-Newman Center Art Gallery is included with admission.  

The Denver Botanic Gardens has a section just for kids!  The Mordecai Children’s Gardens is open seasonally from June 1 through October 31 during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The children’s garden offers a place for children and families to explore plants and the natural world.  

Denver Museum of Nature & Science

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science permanent exhibits include the Egyptian Mummies,  Expedition Health, Gems and Minerals, Konovalenko: Gem Carvings of Russian Folk Life, Prehistoric Journey, North American Indian Cultures, Space Odyssey, and Wildlife Halls.  

Discovery Zone is bursting with activities that help build a strong foundation of science skills in young children as they look, ask, make, and share.

The current temporary exhibits include Asteroid: Earth’s Comeback Story.  A special ticket is required for The Birdly Virtual Reality Experience, IMAX, and the planetarium.

Downtown Aquarium - Denver

The Downtown Aquarium features over a million gallons of kid-friendly underwater exhibits.  Visit the North American Wildness, In the Desert, Under the Sea, At the Wharf, The Rainforest, Coral Lagoon, Sunken Temple, Shipwreck, and At the Beach ecosystems.  The Aquarium Don’t forget to visit the Stringray Reef touch tank! 

The Aquarium Restaurant is a unique dining experience that allows you to be seated around the 50,000-gallon centerpiece aquarium.  The floor-to-ceiling views let you watch more than 100 fish while you dine.  The Aquarium Restaurant is not included in CityPass.  We are mentioning it because it is sure to create memories that you and your family will not forget!

History Colorado Center

The History Colorado Center consists of over fifteen exhibits spanning four floors, capturing the pioneering and individualistic spirit of Colorado.

The History Colorado Center features exhibits including Building Denver, Borderlands of Southern Colorado, Forty Years on the ‘Fax, Liberated: America Fights for Democracy in World War II, and “Brick & Soul” by Armando Genyro.  Special exhibits include Black in Denver, The Civil War Monument “On Guard”, Five Points Plus: Neighborhood Memory Project, and the State Historical Fund Retrospective.

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

The Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is one of the top aviation museums you can visit!  It was named one of the 10 best aviation and aerospace museums in the country by USA Today in 2019.   CNN Travel also named it as one of the 20 best aviation museums around the world in 2018.

The Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is housed in a more than 182,000 square foot hangar space.  Included with paid admission, visitors can explore the Virtual Reality (VR) Lounge.  The museum also features iconic aircraft, space vehicles, artifacts, and military uniforms.
