Chaparral High School

Chaparral High School is a public high school for grades 9-12 located west of Chambers Road and North of Lincoln Avenue.

Discovery Park

Discovery Park is next to the Douglas County Library Parker branch. In the summer, the park has summer concerts and water fountains. In the winter, there is ice skating, for which there is a fee for. There is also huge piece of public art that is from the game of Jacks with two Jacks and a big red ball. Some other features of the park include sitting areas. There is a covered sitting area with small round tables and chairs. There are also benches throughout the open space area of the park along the grass and the concrete area.
