Denver is the capital of Colorado.  This Mile High City is 5,280 feet above sea level.  Denver International Airport (DIA) is the third-busiest airport in the world.  The City of Denver features urban hikes, bike trails, running trails, city parks, and street art.  

Places To Go in Denver

Four Mile Historic Park is a 12-acre park that combines education, history, and hands-on learning.  The park has the oldest standing structure in Denver.  The park is not free, but there are free days scattered throughout the year.

Hammond’s Candy Factory offers free tours (almost) every day.  It’s a fun outing to see how candy is made and learn more about the history of Hammond’s.

Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum displays aircraft, space vehicles, artifacts, military uniforms and more!  We recommend the affordable tours to learn some unique history.
