Cherry Creek State Park is one of 42 parks that are part of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) system. The 4,227-acre park is located in Aurora within minutes of southeastern Denver.

There are 22 trails throughout the park. The park contains close to 5-miles of Cherry Creek Trail.

The park features a swim beach, playground, marina, model airfield, campground and stable (private).

There is an admission fee (per car) for entry. The park can also be accessed with the Keep Colorado Wild Pass.
