Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park is a 75-acre open space with a gazebo, trail, raised boardwalk, pedestrian bridge, and pond. There are sculptured concrete boulders and sandbars, which are fun to hop on to cross the creek. On warm summer days, people often have fun in the shallow water. Please be sure to follow all safety rules that are posted.

Our Visits to the Park
We have been to the park a few times, and each time we discover something new.
Animals: We found little frogs there! I didn’t know that such tiny frogs existed in Colorado. We have seen fish, ducks, birds, and a snake.
Adventures: We parked at the Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park and walked the path to the 17-Mile Farm House off Parker Road. There are many maps along the route that help guide the way.
